The Russian bombardment of Ukraine has been going on for over two years, and the civilian population continues to suffer. The Kremlin has claimed that it is conducting a “just war” against separatists in the eastern part of the country, but the truth is that innocent men, women, and children are being killed every day.

Why are civilians bearing the brunt of Russia’s attack?

The answer is simple: Putin wants to punish the Ukrainian people for their resistance against Russian domination. By inflicting massive damage on residential areas, he hopes to break their spirit and bring them to their knees. But the Ukrainian Russian bombardment of Ukraine has been going on for over two years now and shows no signs of stopping. The civilians living in the war-torn country have suffered tremendously as a result. Here is a look at some of the brutal realities of the situation.

1. Innocent civilians are being killed daily as a result of the Russian bombardment.

2. Hospitals, schools, and other vital infrastructure have been destroyed, leaving the population with little to no access to essential services.

3. More than 1.5 million people have been forced to flee their homes due to the violence.

4. The forces, battered by the local resistance, have stepped up their bombardment across Ukraine. In the latest escalation of the conflict, Ukrainian officials say Russian artillery has pounded rebel positions and civilian areas in eastern Ukraine in what they call a “massive attack.”

The United States has strongly condemned the Russian offensive, with State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki saying Washington is “outraged by the reports of resumed Russian attacks.”

The White House also voiced its anger, with spokesman Josh Earnest saying the Russian military was using “the cover of separatists to carry out these attacks.”

The death toll raised to 35: Twenty-nine of those killed are military personnel, mostly from Ukraine, whose Mi-24 attack helicopter was shot down by a Russian Su-27 fighter jet, the Interfax news agency said, quoting a statement by the country’s emergencies ministry. The Russian pilot, who is in serious condition, is in a “medically-compromised state”, according to the agency.

A second Ukrainian fighter jet was also shot down, according to the report, which did not give any details on the whereabouts of the pilot.

The downing of the Mi-24 took place on Tuesday morning at around 7.10 am local time, according to the MiG-29.

Ukraine has said that its helicopter entered Russia’s national airspace

Russian Airstrikes Kill at Least 35 at Base Near Polish Border.

Reuters reports:

Russian warplanes in the last 24 hours have carried out over 20 airstrikes in the area of Luhansk, a spokeswoman for the Ukrainian army’s combat operations confirmed on Thursday.

The Ukrainian general staff said on its Facebook page it had also reported 12 airstrikes from Russian warplanes in the Donetsk and Luhansk areas.

“From Sunday, Russian warplanes began striking targets in the Luhansk region,”

the spokeswoman, Valentyna Moldovets, said.

The attacks continued “even up until now (Thursday)… and were not stopped today even though Ukrainian troops and militia are on the front line,” Moldovets told Reuters from the town of Luhansk.

One of the casualties is a Russian national from Rostov. I am guessing the Kremlin will not be happy about this. Maybe they will try to blame it on Kyiv?

Analysis and conclusion of the Russian-Ukrainian war

During the period from 1914 to 1918, Russia (Russia)

and Ukraine were two countries that were in the war

against each other. On the side of the Ukrainians,

there were German, French, Romanian, Polish, and many

other nationalities. In the history of Russia, many

questions have to be answered, but here it will be

possible to deal only with some of the most important

ones.

1. Why did not Russia

fight the War after 1815?

After the Napolean’s conquest of Russia in 1812,

the Russians got no hope of fighting the allies

again. For the time being, they had to keep

Napolean-France enemies but not the allies.

2. Why did not Russia join the Allies during First

World War?

It was for the time being impossible for the Russian state Council

I think they should create an opportunity by justice to show their better side and save precious lives. No child, woman, or civilian should die due to this conflict
